D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is a photolabile synthetic pyrethroid exhibiting mainly a knock-down effect especially on mosquitoes.

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is recommended in a variety of applications. Thanks to its excellent heatstability and effectiveness against different species of mosquitoes, D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 finds its best use in continuous acting flying insect killer formulations (CAFIKs) such as liquid emanator devices (LEDs), mats and coils.

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is around two times more effective than d-allethrin. As for other synthetic pyrethroids, the efficacy of D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is strongly enhanced when combined with Piperonyl Butoxide which, thanks to its unique mode of action, excellently synergizes D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 in aerosol and mats applications, with immediate and persistent effectiveness in both.

APPLICATIONS

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is an excellent knock-down pyrethroid suitable for applications against flying insects, in particular against mosquitoes. The most recommended uses of D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 are in coils, mats and liquid emanator devices, but it can also be used in aerosols and liquid concentrates.

COMPATIBILITY, STABILITY,
STORAGE AND HANDLING

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is compatible with most of the actives, solvents and co-formulants normally used in the manufacturing of insecticidal products, including Piperonyl Butoxide which also exhibits an excellent solvency power towards pyrethroids.

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is sensitive to alkalis and strong acids, which rapidly hydrolyse the substance.

D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 is also degraded by exposure to light and air. When kept in the original sealed drums and properly stored, D-TRANS ALLETHRIN 75/25 has a shelf life of at least three years from the manufacturing date.
