General information:

- One tablet can be used to treat up to 1000 lt.
- Based on the active ingredient S-Methoprene
- Contains Denatonium Benzoate to reduce the risk of ingestion.
- Ideal for stagnant water treatment

BENEFITS

  • Ideal for prevention and fighting infestation through an integrative
    mosquito pest management approach
with the scope to reduce a wide use of insecticides.
  • Methoprene is a juvenile hormone (JH)
analog which acts as a growth regulator
when used as an insecticide. Methoprene
does not kill insects. Instead, it acts as an
    insect growth regulator, mimicking natural
    juvenile hormone. Juvenile hormone must
be absent for a pupa to molt to an adult,
    so methoprene-treated larvae will be
unable to successfully change from pupae
to adults. This breaks the biological life
cycle of the insect, preventing recurring
    infestation.

PROPERTIES

ACTILARV is an effervescent tablet, based on S-Methoprene, for water treatment to control mosquito infestations from the larva stage. Extremely effective against all species of mosquitoes (including Tiger Mosquito).

ACTILARV TABLETS exerts its action by ingestion and contact, mimicking the effect of the juvenile hormone that prevents the larva to transform and become an adult. If used within the time and in the correct manner, it has a certain selectivity towards predators and hyperparasites.
