Endura’s ISO-Certified Approach to Sustainable Industrial Management

Written by Endura | 18-02-2026

At Endura, certifications are more than formal achievements: they are proof of a company culture built on responsibility, innovation, and longterm vision. Every day, these standards guide how we design our processes, run our operations, and build trust with customers around the world.

Our ISOcertified Integrated Management System is the backbone of this approach. It strengthens our commitment to environmental protection, energy efficiency, workplace safety, and product quality. These certifications demonstrate that sustainability is embedded into every decision we make, from the production lines in Ravenna (Italy) to global customer relationships.

ISO 14001 — Environmental Management System

Endura operates under ISO 14001 to systematically identify, evaluate, and control environmental impacts across its operations.
This system ensures:

  • structured assessment of environmental aspects and risks
  • continuous monitoring of air emissions and wastewater (where applicable)
  • strict compliance with permit conditions and emission limits

Through continuous emission monitoring, disciplined compliance with regulatory limits, and responsible management of wastewater and waste supported by advanced abatement technologies, and rigorous environmental inspections we safeguard soil, water, and air while driving continuous improvement.

ISO 50001 — Energy Management System

Energy efficiency is central to our sustainability strategy.
With ISO 50001, Endura has implemented:

  • detailed energy performance indicators (EnPIs)
  • Process energy-efficiency measures, including replacing obsolete assets with state-of-the-art, high-efficiency equipment and instruments
  • Installation of a rooftop solar PV array across the buildings at the operating site
  • annual energy audits and structured action plans

ISO 9001 — Quality Management System

Quality and customer trust have always been fundamental pillars of Endura’s way of working.

Our ISO 9001 certification reinforces:

  • product consistency and regulatory compliance
  • robust complaint handling and traceability systems
  • continuous improvement of operational processes across the company

This ensures customers receive products manufactured under the highest standards of reliability and safety.

ISO 45001 — Occupational Health & Safety Management

People are at the centre of our sustainability vision.

ISO 45001 guides our commitment to creating a safe, healthy workplace through:

  • comprehensive risk assessment for plant, chemical and physical hazards
  • preventive measures and emergency preparedness
  • mandatory HSE training for all employees

This structured approach has contributed to extremely low accident rates and a strong internal culture of safety and responsibility.

Responsible Care & EMAS — Beyond Compliance

Endura’s engagement in the global Responsible Care program further reflects our voluntary commitment to transparency, environmental protection, and community wellbeing.

Additionally, our participation in the EMAS-certified Ravenna Chemical & Industrial District highlights our contribution to coordinated, district-wide environmental performance improvements.
